I don’t know where I originally got this recipe from, but I’ve adapted it from the original and it has been a huge hit at my house ((my two year old even wants MORE MORE MORE!)) It’s called “Lazy Tacos” and is SUPER easy, AND sneaks in all the main components!
Ingredients-
- 2 lbs ground turkey
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1 cup h20
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1-1.5 cups cheddar cheese (shredded or cubed)
- 1 green pepper (chopped)
- 1 red pepper (chopped)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 3/4 cup sr cream
- 6 tortillas ((cut up into little pieces))
Directions- In a large pot cook the ground turkey, when it’s almost cooked through, add the veggies ((you can add any veggie you’d like to the meal, and any amounts, I just wrote what I went with last time… you can even omit them if you’d like, up to you, but it’s a nice way to sneak them in and kids will still eat them willingly!)), drain the veggies and meat when veggies become tender and meat is cooked. Add rest of the ingredients, cook for 10 (ish) minutes, or until it starts to thicken. And POOF! You’re done. I don’t write out a lot of recipes for other people, so please excuse me if there’s any confusion, and if something doesn’t make sense let me know! Hopefully I’ll get better after I start writing more here! But this meal is SUPER SUPER easy, and everyone loves it!
